Library Sessions

Library sessions are available by appointment only, they are usually available on least 3 days per month (see table below for more information).

Call in and browse our books, cds and magazines. The library includes a wide range of books on M.E. and related topics such as nutrition, relaxation and various therapies. We also have talking books and many leaflets and booklets on M.E.

The entrance is just off Division Street, and reception staff will guide you to our office. There is also a postal library for members - email for details.


Meetings and Events

Drop-Ins are social meetings are held at various venues around the city. Drop-Ins are generally held monthly, however, please refer to dates further down this page or in the newsletter for specific details. Why not come along and meet some of our members?

Information Sessions will usually be a venue where information and awareness displays are being shown. An opportunity to pop along and request information, particularly useful for newly diagnosed. (Please note we cannot guarantee seating availability at these locations/venues).

Lunch Clubs are informal meetings where sufferers, their friends and families can come along and meet others. No pre-booked meals just choose and buy what you feel like on the day (if anything).

We understand it can be hard to walk into a room of new people. One of our current members would be happy to meet you informally before a meeting for a cup of tea and a chat about how the group runs. Please contact the office and we can arrange this.

NOTE:
ALL meetings arranged through the Sheffield M.E. Group will be advertised on this website and in the newsletter diary pages. ANY other meetings advertised under Sheffield M.E. or Sheffield ME/CFS have no connection to our group. If you're unsure about any meeting, please contact the office for clarification.
