Many people with M.E and/or Fibromyalgia are entitled to support from welfare benefits. If you are unemployed or unable to work due to ill health, you may be entitled to Universal Credit or new-style ESA. If your condition means that you need some extra support with care or mobility, you may be entitled to PIP. If you require regular care, that person may be entitled to Carer’s Allowance. If you are on a low income you may also be entitled to help with your rent through Universal Credit, a reduction Council Tax, and free prescriptions.
