We are hiring a Chief Executive Officer

Sheffield ME and Fibromyalgia Group (SMEFG) is a registered charity supporting over 700 members across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire who are living with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia and long Covid. Alongside our direct support, we are committed to raising awareness of these conditions and influencing positive improvements in local services.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation. We are a small but dedicated team of six, supported by freelance resource, with a strong foundation and clear ambition to grow. We are currently refreshing our Board and working closely with members to shape our 2027–2030 strategy.

A key priority for the incoming Chief Executive will be to develop a sustainable funding strategy, ensuring the charity can continue to grow its impact and reach more people who need support.
