A network is building up between local ME support groups around the UK. The aim is to meet on a regular basis to discuss and share best practice around various areas of interest related to support and advocacy for people with ME/CFS. We're also aiming at creating a united voice to influence positive changes in the world of ME.

Each local support group acts locally on diverse projects. Some of them might be overlapping with other groups' and others may be a new development that could inspire others. We have much to learn from one another, and this network is the opportunity to share advice, ideas and questions. This is also the opportunity to strengthen our impact by working together on diverse issues.

We are very excited to be part of this project, and our first meeting has been arranged for the 13th of August at 11am. If you work in a local ME support group in the UK and would like to be involved in this network or to know more about our upcoming meeting, please contact Elyane on elyane@sheffieldmegroup.co.uk.
