Benefits advice support from the group - announcement

SMEFIBG

We unfortunately temporarily do not have the capacity to respond to benefits advice queries or take on any new cases until we have cleared a backlog and recruited to a vacant post - we will put an announcement as soon as we can resume casework, hopefully a few weeks.

You can access support from the Citizens Advice advice line

on 03444113111, the Universal Credit helpline on 08001448444 and the website citizensadvice.org.uk. If you use Facebook there is an excellent online group about benefits - you will find it by searching for UK ME and Chronic Illness Benefits Advice Facebook group.

Enquiries about PIP are being directed to this excellent detailed advice available through this link which will take you through the form question by question. Help filling in your PIP claim form

Alternatively, for a cost of £3.00, there is a detailed guide available from the ME Association.
